CHAP 2:The history

Nisha and Padmaja lived close by. Since they were about 4 years old, they had been friends. Aadhinadhan, Padmaja's father, was Tamil, and Bhanumathi, her mother, is Telugu. When her father was employed as a rice mill worker in Chithoor, her parents met and later wed in accordance with Tamil tradition. Six years her junior, Padmaja had two younger twin brothers. Her father was a textile consultant, and Nisha came from a traditional Hindu family.

Their pair was a perfect one. Both of them complemented each other. Nisha was good in studies, quiet and well mannered. She was an introvert and didn't mingle much with people. On the other hand,Padmaja was mediocre in academics and mingled well with people.Nisha had a dark brownish golden skin tone and Padmaja was fair skinned. They studied in a government aided school that was 10 mins from their neighborhood. Both of them studied in grade 10.

Nisha resided with her maternal grandma. After the passing of her husband, she had been residing with them for the previous five years. Gopalan, her only child, had made his home in the US. His only child was a girl named Kavya. He was the general manager of TechGlobal, a major player in the software industry. Rich families of their caste were more than happy to adopt him as their son in law because of his employment with such a reputable corporation. His wife also comes from a similar household. He had an abundance of wealth and the favour of the goddess Mahalakshmi. He had a stylish BMW and a home that was on par with a huge bungalow. Kavya was a spendthrift who was raised in the height of luxury.

Arrogance is a result of success and wealth. He was heavily influenced by his wife, which caused him to act very haughtily towards his sister and parents. Nisha hated his family to the core and always felt uneasy when they came to their place. The relationship between her family and his was tense.

The majority of her relatives, who are generally well off, ostracised her because of her financial situation in addition to her uncle. She became extremely ambitious and driven to succeed and prosper. Only one member of her family—her mother's aunt—was friendly with her family.

Padmaja, on the other hand, was well trained in the nuances of good communication because she spent her childhood with family members and close friends. In each other's company, they had a wonderful time in school up to grade 10.

Selva was a classmate of theirs. These two girls and he both grew up in the same area. He was extremely tall, lean, and dark skinned. He gave cleanliness the least amount of thought. His hair was matted and untidy, and his teeth were yellow. He struggled academically and ended up failing grade 9, which required him to retake the year. But he had a heart of gold. Nisha had not spoken to him much because she didn't like the way he was acting. But, Padmaja was less concerned with his appearance and they always got along well.

Nisha had great respect among the faculty and students. She loved her school.Padmaja sought her help for assignments and projects.Padmaja was a courageous friend who always had Nisha's back.

Nisha was a huge fan of Michael Jackson.. As she saw his amazing and beautiful dance performance, she had lost herself. She was a slave to his lovely smile. He was a storm and a great feeling in her eyes.. She had his poster in her room and didn't bother about what people said to her about him and  found solace and happiness in his music tracks.

She was peaceful and content with her life, until it took a drastic turn....
